Scammers have been sending out fake emails purportedly from Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
These scammers make use of the names of influential personalities, including government leaders, to trick recipients into responding to them, visiting scam websites, or divulging personal information.
Contents of these email messages vary. The example pictured above thanks the recipient for their contributions to Singapore and invites the recipient to acknowledge receipt.
If you receive such emails, IGNORE THEM! Do not reply to the email or forward it to your friends and family.
